My fourth photo is  by James VanDerZee, and is titled "Couple in Raccoon Coats".
1. I chose this photo, because it made me think about what the picture really was about.  What caught my eye was the slick car that is featured in this photo, it just draws your eye to it.
2. This photo shows a picture of a couple both featuring signs of a life of luxury. The couple are both wearing big fluffy raccoon coats, and a Cadillac Roadster.
3.When you look for more information on this photograph, you'll see that this is exactly what the photographer was trying to show. James VanDerZee carefully staged his photos to celebrate the images his subjects wanted to project. The piece became a staple that African Americans, can swell be a part of the American dream.

Callahan's pictures often displayed his wife Eleanor, and just random pedestrians that he found and photographed them. Harry Callahan died, March 15th 1999.

Sensory Overload

1. I agree with this statement, it's overall message, a place is just a place, it is what inside that makes it what it really is. 2. When I looked through the pictures it made me want to go there with a camera, I have never seen such a colorful place in my life. 3.I think if you were a young child working there, it would be like a real life wonderland, but it may also be confusing because everything is so bright. 4. My favorite photo is the second in the slideshow, or the one with the women sitting in-between all the very colorful flowers.
