My fourth photo is  by James VanDerZee, and is titled "Couple in Raccoon Coats". 1. I chose this photo, because it made me think about what the picture really was about.  What caught my eye was the slick car that is featured in this photo, it just draws your eye to it. 2. This photo shows a picture of a couple both featuring signs of a life of luxury. The couple are both wearing big fluffy raccoon coats, and a Cadillac Roadster. 3.When you look for more information on this photograph, you'll see that this is exactly what the photographer was trying to show. James VanDerZee carefully staged his photos to celebrate the images his subjects wanted to project. The piece became a staple that African Americans, can swell be a part of the American dream. 4.

Dimitri Baltermants Born May 13th, 1912 in Warsaw, Poland Died in 1990 Attended Moscow State University. My third picture that I chose is by Dimitri Baltermants, and the photo is titled "Grief". 1. I chose this picture, because you cam clearly see that someone has captured a very emotional moment. I think what caught my eye the most was the reflection in the wet mud. There is also a lot of light for such a grim scene. 2. The photo shows the scene of the aftermath of some brutal battle. The photo is taken of the moment when family and soldiers search for their comrades and loved ones. The picture manages to capture peoples whole worlds crumbling around them as the deridingly find that their loved ones have died. 3.When looking into the information on this photo, you find that "Grief" is only one of many that a young  Russian photography took during World War 2. The pictures were originally kept unshorn, because the Soviet government did not want people to see ...

Fashion Photoshop

1.They start with a normal person, they seem to try like 10 different hair combinations, then they add makeup and all that stuff. After the photo is take, you can already see a noticeable difference, but after they shape the face and the eyes some, you could not tell that the person in the beginning was the person in the end, which they basically were not that person in the beginning after having so much changed about them. 2. In the second video, it shows us what people do to models in after shooting. In the video, they make changes to then shape of the models face, how tall they are, changing their skin tone, and overall I would say the most noticeable change is they make the model glow. 3. In the third video, the creators show us the photoshop process in reverse. What was originally a piece of pizza is turned into a model. Something that I think the people who made the video were trying to tell people that anything can be beautiful through photoshop. What they did is basically c...

Portraits

15. Hold Your Camera on an Angle . Horizontal and Vertical framings are not the only options when it comes to shooting portraits. While   getting your images straight   can be important in when shooting in these formats holding your camera on a more diagonal angle can also inject a little fun into your images. This type of framing can add a sense of fun and energy into your shots. Just don’t ‘slightly’ do it or you’ll have people asking themselves if you might have mistakenly held your camera crooked.   4. Experiment with Lighting . Another element of randomness that you can introduce to your portraits is the way that you light them. There are almost unlimited possibilities when it comes to using light in portraits. Side-lighting can create mood, backlighting and silhouetting your subject to hide their features can be powerful. The Casual Portrait. Wherever you are with your camera, always be on the lookout for those moments when a person's character shines though...
